Why Tsugi?
'Tsugi' is the Japanese word for a 'joint' in timber construction. (It also means 'next'). The precision and joy of Japanese joinery has been a great inspiration for this endeavour.

Tsugi exists to contribute to a lineage of old world craftmanship, and resist the fakery of modern mass building. To build with solid materials, to repurpose the stuff we take out. To listen to and respect our clients, our suppliers and our tradespeople.
